Our tip: Always have a Skike complete wheel and a small axle key with you on tour. A puncture can easily be fixed within around 2 minutes. Remove the caps covering the hub axle nuts at home in advance so you can quickly access the axle nuts.

Fast ABEC 9 wheel bearings

Fits all Powerslide Nordic Skates, Inline Skates or Skikes (Spacer will have to be refitted from the old wheel bearings). Two ABEC 9 wheel bearings for 1 wheel. Simply install with the Powerslide or Skike spacer! If that is lost - please reorder.

These brake shoes are the Skike's metal brake pads. Once they have roughened up a little, they will be very effective whith good grip - even in wet weather. They are made from durable hard metal which will last for a long time.

The brake shoe is delivered along with new mounting bolts. We also enclose our leaflet with expert advice on how to make your brake shoe set last approx. 60% longer - without any loss in safety and functionality.

Please remember: These brake shoes will not fit into Skike models VX solo, VX twin and Skike S/kids, which all have different shapes, opening angles and strength of material.

The Skike Shoe Frame is made of varnished aluminium sheeting in one piece (no welded joints). Sometimes a little varnish can flake off when bending the shoe frame, which is often inevitable. It is necessary to bend the shoe frame so that is exactly fits the shape of your heel.

The shoe should be tightly slid backwards into the shoe frame so that you get maximum hold. Ideally, the sides of the shoe frame should be parallel to each other and not get wider towards the front. It is best to remove the show frame using a spatula because the velco fastening is so tight that doing this by hand could bend the shoe frame or rip off the velcro.
